As my first term at Dartmouth comes to a close, I'm excited to share some incredible opportunities ahead! 🌲 I'm honored to have been selected for the Goldman Sachs Possibilities Summit 2025, where I'll connect with peers nationwide while developing industry skills. Next term, I'll be officially starting my work at two meaningful initiatives on campus: the Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program (DIPP), working with a team to manage a $900K portfolio while supporting charitable organizations, and The Social Impact Nonprofit Consulting (SINC) Group at Dartmouth, where we'll help local nonprofits strategically strengthen their community impact. Grateful for these opportunities and excited to grow! 💚

I'm so incredibly excited to announce that I've been selected as a 2023 Non-trivial Fellow! As 1 of 100 fellows selected from around the globe, I will pursue research on my choice of the world's most pressing issues in an 8 week fellowship starting in July, be eligible for $30,000 dollars in funding for my project, receive a $500 scholarship, and join a community of current fellows and alumni who are dedicated to changing our world and making a real impact. A special thank you to Non-Trivial founder Peter McIntyre for this opportunity! And to anyone who cares: I filled out applications for ~10 other summer research programs before Non-Trivial and got rejected/waitlisted at all of them, so I thought I had no chance at something as competitive as Non-Trivial. But I tried anyways, and that's honestly a philosophy that I think everyone should follow. You never know what'll happen, and all it takes is one person to say yes.

What an incredible summer! Just wrapped up my internship at the Solar Energy Industries Association a couple weeks ago, and I've been reflecting on everything I've learned and accomplished this summer. Over the course of my internship, I had the opportunity to work on several meaningful projects: - Completed market research for solar panel standards development across US and EU markets - Developed standardized policy documentation for states' solar regulations - Designed supply chain investigations to support circular economy initiatives in solar - Created governance frameworks for standards committees and collaborated on compliance requirements This experience deepened my understanding of how technical standards drive innovation in the solar energy sector and solidified my commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Special thanks to my incredible supervisor Jennifer Martin and the entire Technical Services team at SEIA for their mentorship, guidance, and for trusting me with such impactful work. Their expertise and support made this summer truly transformative! Thank you to the entire SEIA team and The Nelson A. I'm so excited to announce that I am joining the Encode Justice (EJ) executive team as the Co-Director of Education alongside Vidya Bharadwaj! Encode Justice is a non-profit organization that mobilizes thousands of volunteers around the world (35+ countries) to advocate for ethical and human centered AI, and has been successful in lobbying for multiple ethical AI policies, conducting original research, creating original policies in its own student-led think tank, and educating thousands of students about AI (EJ's website: encodejustice.org). I had originally applied for EJ's fellowship, but I never would've imagined that I would be given the opportunity to play such an instrumental role in educating about AI (both its risks and benefits) and pushing for a world with more ethical AI. Thank you so much to Sneha Revanur for presenting me with this opportunity, and a huge shout out to the whole executive team that has made EJ so successful thus far! I'm excited to bring my passion and experience in youth advocacy, STEM, and politics to the table to help make more big things happen for EJ!
